This design uses the purple gradient header of the new main page.
The quicklist flyout menu in the top dark gray header would have 2 sections, first being links related to Relations & Communications; the second section would be links generally to UWSP sites.
"Home" link in the dark gray header leads to the main UWSP home page, the other links in that dark gray header are specific to Relations & Communications.
The top left links are for upcoming events, either daily or weekly as the quantity dictates. The links below (Message of the Day, Government Relations, etc.) are consistent and would not change.
"Current Articles" in the center is for reporting events/news items that have already taken place or newsworthy stories relevant to the UWSP community.
"This Week" along the right side is an "open" category, as it could be used for event promotion, brief facts/quips, reminders, etc.
The image at bottom right is a teaser for video of a recent event, or campus promotion, such as Noteable Faculty or who did what-where-when-why-how, etc.
Note: The main page is 760 pixels wide. It floats centered in a browser window as the window is widened or narrowed. The top header banner, purple on this page, disappears left and right as the browser window is resized, so only the main page is visible. (Example here.)
