Lake Superior's north shore is a place to discover rocky outcrops and watery inlets. This rocky cascade was near the road, an example of numerous such cascades. Jaded motorists race from waterfall to waterfall vainly searching for ecstatic nirvana at the MOTHER OF ALL WATERFALLS. I've witnessed travelers at extraordinary scenes, literally running to the "viewing point", being disgusted at what they saw. Such beauty and peace come because of, and only when, slowing one's pace is assigned first priority. Every waterfall is the best.

On this page is
one of hundreds of Earth Image Photography, Nature Photography images created
over more than thirty years. There are human interest photographs, humorous
photographs, photojournalism photography, great autumn leaf scenes and closeups
of autumn leaves. Time exposure photography is a large part of the collection
along with nature photography closeups. Wildflower images and snowy winter scenes
and soothing photographs, they're all here. Books are on this site too: We Boiled
Up a Sheet takes place near the duxburynorthpool, and My Summer Office is an
entertaining recounting of summers on the Wisconsin River inside and around
Sonbeam's Secret Channel. Enjoy the wealth of imagery to be found on the
Earth
Image Nature Photography site, both in photography and prose.
