Curvaceous
So
many of the photographs I've made are the result of serendipitous events or
times that I was not "on the prowl" for photographs. Such is the case of this
expired hay rake which I became aware of while sitting and waiting. It was sitting
at the edge of a field, sort of sinking into its environment, and did not immediately
call out and draw attention to itself as a dynamic and wonderful subject to
be photographed. But one of the most exciting things about studying many photo
possibilities is that they grow in potential the longer they are visually caressed.
On
this page is one of hundreds of Earth Image Nature Photography images created
over more than thirty years. There are human interest photographs, humorous
photographs, photojournalism photography, great autumn leaf scenes and closeups
of autumn leaves. Time exposure photography is a large part of the collection
along with nature photography closeups. Wildflower images and snowy winter scenes
and soothing photographs, they're all here. Books are on this site too: We Boiled
Up a Sheet takes place near the duxburynorthpool, and My Summer Office is an
entertaining recounting of summers on the Wisconsin River inside and around
Sonbeam's Secret Channel. Enjoy the wealth of imagery to be found on the Earth
Image Nature Photography site, both in photography and prose.
