Northern
Wisconsin is legendary for it's pastoral beauty ... rolling farmlands, cows
grazing peacefully and dropping cheese curds as they chew, sparkling northern
lakes, etc. But one of the most serene scenes of all happens during winter when
the landscape is muffled and quieted with a blanket of new snow. This pine plantation
in the far north was a haven of silence.
On
