RISING
NIGHTFALL
While
the western chorus line fades into exhaustion at sundown, another glorious (but
subtle) presentation is happening in the east. As the western sun lowers beneath
the horizon a magnificent palette rises in the east. The circus has departed
and the quieting grandmother arrives to still our soul with dusty violets, deepening
