In the fall of '97 I began work on a new book. During the course of that pursuit I explored numerous remote waterfalls. This particular falls in the north of Wisconsin was a playland of possibilities. Being especially captivated by the colorful rocks, this miniature cascade seemed to echo whisper the cliche "Water from a Rock."
