My daughter is a pretty and willing model. (And, she works for free.) During a photoshoot this image evolved serendipitously. I’d put the white reflector down nearby, late afternoon sun streamed across. I asked my model to lay her head on its side, through the shadows.
I converted the photo to monochrome and adjusted the exposure to a light airy appearance, altering the contrast and shadow values to High Key, a technique used by photographers to “feminize” images, to make them soft, non-threatening, sensual.
