My daughter is a pretty and willing model. And, she works for free. During a photoshoot developing material to present for teaching a class on Photographing People, this image evolved serendipitously while we were taking a break. We were sitting in a grassy meadow. I’d put the white reflector down nearby. As we chatted I noticed late afternoon sun streaming across the foamboard painting long grassy shadows. On impulse I asked my model to lay her head on its side, through the shadows. I made several images, all in color with a digital camera.
