Okay, so I'm a sitting duck for daughters behind me to mug at the camera where I can't see them, and hold up disgraceful fingers and lurid grimaces while I take the photo-op seriously. They settled down and we got a nice one.

At Sandy Flats as mid-August whispered that summer was ending.

Impossibly tiny, a water spider 1/100th its size hiked over its head heading for spring in Jamaica.

Sandy Flats is where we get to do the unusual, the weird, like roll up our jeans and wade without regard for the rest of the world that wants us to behave.

ACTION!
These little guys (in the palm of Chelsea's hand) were discovered on the bottom of the river, lost by a youngster who played war while his parents didn't notice their own war.
